Here's a quick guide to choosing blood for your makeup:
There are two different compositions of fake blood: flowing blood and solid blood paste. Both compositions are available in two different shades, brighter (fresher) and darker (older).
Blood from arteries and veins also has different colors, with darker blood being more suitable for venous blood and lighter blood being better for arterial blood.
It is best to use flowing blood on fresh, recent wounds. It is perfect for vampires and accidents, for example.
Stage Blood is the color of fresh arterial blood and has an added mint flavor.
Dark Blood is more similar to darker venous blood, and is also better suited to slightly older patients.
Both are medium-thick in consistency and will run on the skin for a while , after which the run will stop and the drop will solidify in place. Use in, around wounds or on blood spatter.
Stage Blood and Dark Blood can both be used safely inside the mouth.

Solid blood is suitable for both fresh wounds and accidents that have occurred some time ago. Its composition is a solid and sticky gel.
You can add solid blood directly to wounds or dab it around them. The end result is three-dimensional and the blood can be easily worked with for long periods of time. However, the blood will gradually clot in place and also lose its stickiness (the clotting time depends on the amount of blood used).
Fresh Scab, as the name suggests, already resembles a scab. The deep reddish-brown color simulates oxidized blood, meaning the wound is no longer fresh. A great color for zombies.
Thick Blood is the color of arterial blood, bright and vibrant. Using a shaving sponge, you can also quickly create asphalt rashes and abrasions.

Generally speaking, using flowing blood is easier and faster, but solid blood lasts better on the skin without making a mess and can also be used to create 3D effects.
All bloods are available in mini sizes up to one-liter canisters. In addition to Halloween makeup, Ben Nye's blood has been used in large theaters (e.g. Helsinki City Theater) as well as in well-known TV series (e.g. Secret Lives).
When applying blood, it is best to start at the base of the wound (where the blood naturally starts to flow) and always remember the realistic direction of flow. We recommend using disposable applicators, sponges, spatulas, cotton swabs, etc.
Blood splatters can be easily created using a toothbrush, for example, and a spatula can quickly draw straight, superficial wounds. Using your imagination, you can bring a supernatural feel to your characters 💀
Remember that blood may stain some fabrics permanently!

Hei Maikki ! Nielaiseminen ei haittaa, mutta emme suosittele sitä :). Mitään vaaraa ei pienistä määristä pitäisi olla nieltynä, ellei ole allerginen jollekin veren ainesosalle. Tässä vielä inci lista:
HYDROLYZED CORN STARCH, CI NO. 16035, 42090 (RED 40, BLUE 1), AQUA (WATER), PROPYLENE GLYCOL, METHYLPARABEN, AROMA (FLAVOR).
BACKSTAGE BEAUTY
Voiko Stage Bloodia nielaista?
Maikki
